ON THE PREDICTION OF HAZARD AREA RESULTING FROM A GAS RELEASE

Abstract

A synthesis of hazard area prediction followinq the release of a hazardous gas cloud is developed. At a fixed risk level the predicted hazard area is estimated to depend much upon prediction errors for actual atmospheric transport and flow parameters.
