Abstract

The Ho Chi Minh City Environmental Improvement Project, Air Quality Monitoring component (HEIA) is being supported by NORAD and is being undertaken by NILU for the Department of Natural Resources and Environment (DONRE). Mission 4 to HCMC was undertaken from 14 to 23 April 2004, and included further training in the use of AirQUIS models, check the import of air quality and meteorological data as well as the performance of the Air Quality Index procedures. We also tested the emission data and performed model test run. The Mission also included an assessment of further training needs and preparationof schedules for the development of a Reference Laboratory.
