dc.description.abstractAs a part of the OECD "Compass" project, six important air residuals from fossil fuel energy production are discussed with respect to atmospheric pathways and impacts. The residuals are: Sulphur oxides, nitrogen oxides, organic compounds, mercury, cadmium anp carbon dioxide. The following impact categories are treated Health, visibility, climate, water quality and aquatic lilte, soil quality, vegetation, and materials.
