Sammendrag
Atmospheric emissions of arsenic (As), cadmium (Cd), mercury (Hg) and zinc (Zn) from athropogenic sources in Europe are presented for 1982. Non-ferrous metal industry is the major emitter of As, Cd, Zn, while Hg is mainly emitted from the combustion of coal. Spatial distributions of these emissions show that the major source regions are in Poland, Czechoslovakia, German Democratic Republic, the Soviet Union, Federal Republic of Germany, France, Spain and Italy.
