An attempt is made to assess anthropogenic emissions of 12 atmospheric pollutants, released from 12 emission areas in the Soviet Union. The data have been based on emission factors, and statistical information on the consumption of ores, rocks and fuel, and the production of various types of industrial goods. The emission survey has been prepared in order to model long range transport of pollutants to the Arctic.
