dc.description.abstract | Estimated emissions of trace elements from sources in the U.S.S.R. were used in a simple trajectory model to calculate concentrations at Ny Ålesund, Spitsbergen, and to compare with measurements. The origin of the arctic aerosol was traced by principal component time series, and cluster analyses. Emissions from the U.S.S.R. resulted in high concentrations of trace elements in the Arctic in March 1983. | |
