dc.description.abstractA new atmospheric research station is built on the Zeppelin Mountain near Ny-Ålesund on Svalbard. The station is equipped with instruments measuring acid compounds and photochemical oxidants including precursors, greenhouse gases, gases that deplete the ozone layer, chlorinated hydrocarbons, particulate matter and meteorological parameters. The site is open for international collaboration.
