A NUMERICAL MODEL SUITABLE FOR THE SIMULATION OF A BROAD CLASS OF CIRCULATION SYSTEMS ON THE ATMOSPHERIC MESOSCALE.
Abstract
The report constitutes a documentation of a numerical model for the atmospherical mesoscale. The model includes a high resolution planetary boundary layer parameterication, an equation for ground surface temperature and a full scheme for humidity. Long wave radiation is also included. The model is designed to be nested into models on larger scales. A few examples of application are included.
